Hello, my name is Aissam and I am the owner of Menara Soaps. In 2011, I immigrated from my home country, Morocco, to pursue studies in chemical engineering in Canada. 

Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to attend various events and conferences around environmental sustainability, green engineering and plastic pollution. In Quebec, where I live, only 10% of plastic is being recycled. So, I started reflecting and looking for ways to reduce my waste and lead an eco-conscious, minimalist lifestyle. One of the first and easy actions I took, was to use organic soap to replace my shower gel and shampoo bottles. Having studied chemical engineering, and being passionate about sustainability, I started delving into the science of biological cosmetics and making my own bath products. 

After almost 2 years of formulation and experimentation, I found myself so deeply fascinated with an art that allows me to express myself through colours and scents. Furthermore, as I learned about medicinal herbs, aromatherapy, and oils, I found myself more connected to nature. Ultimately, I became eager to share my journey and creations through Menara Soaps. 

Menara Soaps is the result of my creative expression, a reflection of my identity and journey, as well as my pledge to a more sustainable future. For each product sold, one less plastic is consumed.
